Castellaras is a special place. My family and I have spent time here, every summer, in a home that has been passed down for four generations since my great-grandparents first came to Castellaras in the 1950’s. It is also where Garrett and I got engaged.

Designed by the architect, Jacques Couëlle (1902-1996), Castellaras is a private domain nestled in the hills between Valbonne and Mougins, historic villages in the South of France. Each of the houses have their own unique design with beautifully terraced gardens built into the landscape.

At the center and highest point is the Château, perched on top of the hill with panoramic views of the Côte d’Azur. With its mix of 12th, 15th and 16th century architecture, the Château consists of original Gothic and Romanesque structures reimagined by Couëlle as a private club.
